User Experience Strategy Workshop

Workshop Goals & Scope

  • Evaluate the success of past user experience initiatives and activities
  • Educate stakeholders & build buy-in for user experience
  • Set goals for the future (e.g. reduce data entry time for users, increase checkout completion rates, reduce development time)
  • Develop measures of success (e.g. design decisions are made based on evidence about user behavior, user satisfaction increases)
  • Identify highest ROI UX activities
  • Decide when to outsource or use internal resources
  • Develop timelines for incorporating user experience into the development process

Workshop Process

The workshop will be conducted by Eva Kaniasty, the Founder & Principal of Red Pill UX. Eva will work closely with your company’s stakeholders to understand business and strategic goals, and to make decisions about appropriate investment in User Experience. The workshop is structured as follows:

  • Stakeholder Interviews (Day 1 – on site)
  • Group Planning Brainstorm (Day 1 – on site)
  • UX Strategy Briefing (Day 7 – on site or remote)
  • 6 Month Check-In & Re-evaluation (Month 6 – on site or remote)

Target Audience

The workshop can benefit both organizations with existing User Experience initiatives and those who are just beginning to implement user-centered practices within their organizations. The workshop will involve key decision makers and stakeholders in the development of a strategy that will have a measurable impact on the company’s products and processes.  Stakeholders from Business, Product & Project Management, Marketing, Design, and Development should be involved in setting your UX Strategy. The strategy briefing delivered at the conclusion of the project will be targeted to the goals and needs of your organization.
