UX Method Planner

Posted on February 15, 2012

At Red Pill UX, clients often hire us to do a very specific piece of the UX process. Most of the time this works well. However, there are times when clients don’t have enough information to make a decision about which methods to apply at which point in the design process. This means that they tend to fall back on the most ubiquitous UX methods, wireframing and usability testing, rather than exploring the full range of methods available.

UX Planner is a decision tool to expose non-experts to the full range UX methods. The first version is now available for download and print. An annotated PDF version (with external links to more information about methods) is in the works. Let us know what you think!
